What’s it really like to be a student in the Master of Engineering Leadership (MEL) or Master of Health Leadership and Policy (MHLP) program? We sat down with students who were in the midst of their 12-month full-time and 24-month part-time graduate degree programs to ask about their experiences in the MEL and MHLP. They candidly shared their perspectives on why they chose the program, the highlights of their year so far and advice they give others considering the program. They also talk about life outside of school, including juggling work and family obligations, pursuing UBC’s many extracurricular or entrepreneurship incubator opportunities, and finding the best spots on campus to study or work on group projects!
