BCCPA’S 40 for 40 Bursary Program
BCCPA is celebrating its 40th year anniversary with 40 Concerts in Care for designated member tour sites and by hosting 40 students at their annual conference over the next years!
The British Columbia Care Provider’s Association (BCCPA) is celebrating its 40th year anniversary with two program highlights:
The program Students in Conference will sponsor 40 post-secondary students (currently enrolled in full-time studies in BC) to attend the BCCPA Annual Conferences in the following three years: 20 students in 2018, 10 students in 2019 and 10 students in 2020.
Students selected for the bursary will experience educational workshops and networking with specific themes and nationally recognized keynote speakers. The bursary includes:
- Two nights accommodation, conference fees, meals, and transportation costs covered (valued at $2,000).
- Networking with thought leaders, care professionals, potential employers, Ministry of Health and Health Authority officials.
- Learning about new innovative seniors care sector initiatives.
- Participating in discussions and educational workshops.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students in our Master of Health Leadership & Policy (MHLP) and Master of Engineering Leadership (MEL) programs. Further programs could include Gerontology, Nursing, Kinesiology, Recreational Leadership, Health Sciences, Health Administration, Occupational Health and Safety or Health Information Management.
