Learning environment
Before each class, you will independently review material through assigned readings and lecture videos. Classes are a time for active learning where you will contribute to discussions, apply your knowledge to real-world case studies and collaborate on group projects. This interactive format ensures a deeper understanding and enables you to gain practical, hands-on experience with the subject matter.
Flexible study options
The MEL in Urban Systems offers flexible study options: complete the program full-time in 12 months or part-time over 24 months.
Part-time students typically take leadership courses and six to nine credits of technical courses during their first year, focusing on the remaining technical courses in the second year. This format allows you to attend classes with both full-time and part-time peers, providing valuable opportunities to expand your professional network.
