The UBC campus advantage
Perched on a forested peninsula with ocean-to-mountain views, UBC is a self-contained city: grocery stores, cafés, fitness centres, museums, a world-class concert hall and 350+ clubs are all steps away. MEL/MHLP students also enjoy an exclusive studio space for study sessions, quick coffee breaks and game nights.
Living in Vancouver
Consistently ranked among the world’s most livable cities, Vancouver offers walkable neighbourhoods, a thriving food scene and easy access to the North Shore mountains for year-round hiking, biking and skiing. It’s also a hub for clean tech, health innovation and sustainable engineering—ideal for turning classroom insights into career opportunities.
