Dr. Lydia Wytenbroek

Dr. Wytenbroek is social historian of health and nursing, with interests in the histories of American nursing imperialism in the Middle East, medical racism, perioperative nursing in Canada, nursing technological innovation, and the politics of health care. She is the Co-Lead of the Consortium for Nursing History Inquiry at UBC, is an editor of Nursing History Review, and serves on various national and international nursing history organizations, including the Canadian Association for the History of Nursing, the American Association for the History of Nursing & the American Association for the History of Medicine.
