Dr. Alireza B. Hosseini

Alireza Bagherzadeh has been teaching at UBC’s Chemical and Biological Engineering (CHBE) department since 2015. He received his bachelor degree in chemical and petroleum engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2008, his MASc and PhD from UBC’s CHBE department in 2010 and 2015, respectively. His areas of expertise include unconventional sources of natural gas, in particular gas hydrates, and green practices of flow assurance where he simulates anti-freeze proteins at the molecular level.
