# Dr. Su-Jan Yeo

 

 

Dr. Su-Jan Yeo is an Adjunct Professor in the [School of Community and Regional Planning](https://scarp.ubc.ca/). She teaches the [Urban Systems Analysis and Planning course](/programs/mel/urban-systems/urban-systems-courses "Urban Systems Courses") for the [MEL](/why-ubc-mel-mhlp/mel "Master of Engineering Leadership"), covering essential topics such as strategic planning, long-range planning, and governance. Driven by a deep commitment to advancing planning education, Su-Jan has earned recognition for her innovative contributions to teaching and pedagogy. Prior to her involvement in academia, Su-Jan gained public sector planning experiences in Canada and Singapore. She graduated with a Master’s in Urban Development and Design from the [University of New South Wales](https://www.unsw.edu.au/), and a PhD in Architecture from the [National University of Singapore](https://nus.edu.sg/).
